Professional Development
An assessment is only as good as the data it yields about student performance. Likewise, assessment data is only as good as the ability of educators to use it to inform instructional change.
At Measured Progress, we apply decades of experience to help states, districts, and schools implement highly effective and precisely focused professional development programs.
Our areas of expertise include:
- Using assessment data to improve instruction
- Communicating assessment results effectively to varied constituents
- Integrating classroom assessment tools into instruction
- Evaluating student work using rubrics and exemplars
While much of our professional development is integrated into our assessment tools and services, we also have extensive experience working with states and large school districts to effectively build comprehensive assessment systems. As states move toward implementation of the Common Core State Standards, we are broadening our professional development approaches to ease the transition for educators as they integrate our assessment tools with their instruction.
