Hy Waxman

Hy Waxman is the director of project management at Becton Dickinson, an international manufacturer of health care products and diagnostic equipment. In this capacity, he leads the strategy and implementation of global projects in the areas of technology, construction, and supply chain. He also serves as the information technology practice leader at Becton Dickinson Healthcare Consulting, where he has worked with health care organizations to plan, execute, and optimize the use of information technology to operate supply chain processes more efficiently in the clinical and operational arenas. 

Prior to joining Becton Dickinson, Mr. Waxman built a reputation as an expert in information systems. He launched and served as president of systems integration for Systems and Computer Technology, an international software supplier for multiple industries. He has also served as chief information officer at several organizations, including Child World and AT&T Capital. 

Mr. Waxman was educated at Lowell Technological Institute, is Six Sigma certified, and earned his Project Management Professional credentials from the Project Management Institute. He and his wife Judy have two children, and twin grandchildren. Mr. Waxman enjoys golf, skiing, photography, and travel.
